Ethan Turned 3!!

Ok, he turned 3 back in May.  But I wanted to record this memory; and what better way than to do it on my blog.  The kid had loads of fun.  Here are a few of his favorite things going into this year.

• He loves dirt bikes and 4 wheelers!
• He loves being outside.
• He loves to run.  The other day we were driving up into the mountains and he said that he just needed to get out a run.  Too cute.
• He loves to play with his friend/cousin Ashlynn.  
• He got a trampoline earlier this year and has loved it.
• And he loves anything to do with the farm.
• He loves his sister.  He's great at looking out for her.
• He loves being read to and learning new songs.

A few things about him.

• He knows most of his shapes and colors.  We're still working on numbers and letters.
• He is a big helper.
• Those dirt bikes and 4 wheelers he loves so much, he knows how to turn on the 4 wheeler and is learning how to drive them. (luckily he hasn't figured out how to change the gear out of neutral yet)
• He stays in Nursery!! The entire time.  Without us.  (If you know our family, you know that is a BIG deal. BIG.)
• He's a very very busy boy.  Always on the move.
• Having his tonsils and adenoids removed made a huge difference in his life. Seriously. You can hardly tell that he was barely talking just 8 months ago.

 I had fun with this cake.  And obviously, he did too.  :)

Oh we love this little boy so much.  It's amazing how grown up he seems to be becoming.  The kid doesn't act like he's 3 half the time.  I can't believe how fast time has flown by us and I'm looking forward to the next year with him!
